Vitamin D - Guidelines - Dietary reference intakes - Australia and New Zealand

About a third of Australians have vitamin D deficiency.[150] Australia and New Zealand have established guidelines for dietary vitamin D intake as follows:



Reference 1: Adequate Intake (μg) and Upper Level of Intake (μg).

Reference 2: Infants 0–12 months, Children 1–18 years, Adults 19–50 years, Adults 51–70 years and Adults 70 years.
