Tashkent is currently divided into the following districts (Uzbek: 'Tuman'):

Reference 1: Population (2009)[23], Area (km²)[23] and Density (area/km²)[23].

Reference 2: Bektemir, Chilanzar, Yashnobod, Mirobod, Mirzo Ulugbek, Sergeli, Shaykhontohur, Olmazar, Uchtepa, Yakkasaray and Yunusabad.
